May 12th, was ME/CFS International Awareness day.
I went to the event organized by the Myalgic Encephalomyelitis Association of Ontario (MEAO) at Queens Park, Toronto.
Its very hard for people with M.E. to get through each day so only two hundred or so - a very small percentage of those effected- could attend.
Above are posted - as MP3s - the speeches - including the press conference inside - where the microphones and amplifiers work much better ... maybe because of the mixed incentive in facilitating boisterous crowds outside.
In editing, I tried for best trade-off of crowd energy versus sound distortion.
I believe the MEAO will have indoor video and audio available soon. But maybe they need a little rest before that's available; in the mean time here's something now and brain-fog-friendly.
It was inspiring to see people - at considerable personal sacrifice - fighting very hard for those that cannot. Now to write my MP & MPP.
